Rob McLennan Poems

City of Incandescent Light Bulbs

Oily fingerprints

decoupage everything.

The not-things

have doubled again.

You take x-rays of yourself

like photographs

to know what sleep keeps.

In this glass pear

is an entire sky.

There is already a lifetime behind you.
